- One of the most popular Thai stir-fried dish
- The dish is really easy to make
- The dish; however, could be make in 2 different ways. The traditional Thai way, we do not add vegetable but for the Western way, you may add vegetables.
- You may also buy the ready-made Thai basil stir-fried sauce at the grocery store or specialty Asian super markets.
- Cooking oil (2-4tbsp)
- Garlic (chopped or finely slice)
- Fresh Thai chili ( sambal oelek, the ground fresh chili past as a substitution)
- Thai basil (most important, 5-10 leaves)
- meat (your choice: chicken, beef, pork, prawns or seafood, abt 200gr)
- Oyster sauce (1tbsp)
- Soy sauce (1tbsp)
- Fish Sauce (1tbsp)
- Sugar (optional, 1/2tbsp)
- Vegetable (onion, carrot, red and green peppers)

Step 1: At medium-high heat, add oil into the wok, followed by garlic. Fried till the garlic almost golden, then add the meat of your choice, stirred until the meat almost cook
Step 2: Add oyster sauce, soy sauce, and fish sauce and mixed it with the meat. Make sure you mix it really well, then add the chopped Thai chilli or sambal and Thai basil. You may add a little bit of sugar for some sweetness. Mixed all all of the ingredients together one more time and give it a taste
Step 3: Served with scented jasmine rice
*If you choose to add some vegetable to the stir-fried, you can do so after your chicken is cooked before putting all the sauces in.*
